ABOUT FSDH WOMEN IN BUSINESS INITIATIVE

The FSDH Women in Business Initiative (WIBI) is focused on enabling, empowering, and encouraging women across the country to continue to thrive in their chosen area of endeavor.

This year, we would be taking the event a notch high. While continuing to focus on empowering women to thrive as entrepreneurs and career professionals through inspiring stories of accomplished women, we are also emphasizing the importance of not neglecting crucial areas that are pivotal for women to flourish in their chosen endeavours. Our theme for this year captures this vision perfectly: “SHE TRANSCENDS: Spurring Women to Build Enduring Businesses and Careers.”

At WIBI 2024, we aim to expose women to the importance of prioritizing these areas to achieve holistic success. By addressing mental health, personal development, regulatory knowledge, and wealth management, we equip women with the tools needed to excel both personally and professionally.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts and women who have excelled in their respective fields. These sessions will offer practical advice, real-world insights, and actionable strategies to empower attendees to thrive in their careers, businesses and personal life.

This panel aims to provide a platform for successful female entrepreneurs to impart invaluable insights and wisdom garnered through years of their entrepreneurial journeys. These discussions will explore their progression from the initial stages of idea conception to establishing thriving businesses. The panel will also spotlight the hurdles they encountered and the strategies they harnessed to surmount them.

By the end of this panel discussion, we aim to ensure that our audience is not only inspired but also educated, equipping them with the knowledge, motivation, and requisite tools to embark on their entrepreneurial ventures or to elevate their existing concepts into compelling narratives that make a meaningful impact within the female economy.

The goal of this panel is to facilitate a spirited discussion that will explore the concept of intrapreneurship, its significance in the modern workplace, and how career women and organizations can harness this entrepreneurial spirit to drive innovation, personal growth, and improve their professional prestige. The panel aims to inspire and educate the audience on the principles, challenges, and opportunities for the working woman who desires to win at work, ultimately empowering them to embrace an intrapreneurial mindset for thriving in their work environments.

Creating a strong personal and professional/business brand while maintaining a critical balance is essential, especially for women who aspire to succeed in various aspects of their lives.

The panel will focus on key elements like community, respect for social structures, relationship building, fashion, giving back, and more. We have invited successful women who have excelled in various fields and embody these attributes. The panelists should be willing to share their personal stories and experiences to serve as a source of strength to young women in the room.
